Meet David Senrick, Project Manager Serving Colorado

What got you into the roofing industry in the first place?

I heard about an opportunity with Red Rock Roofing through my church community. I was an operations coordinator at the time, and this new role felt like a significant step up, offering the professional challenge I was hungry for. The idea of engaging more directly with customers was particularly appealing.

What is your favorite part about your job with Red Rock Roofing?

I really love being out and about instead of stuck behind a desk. It’s great to walk around and interact with our crew members and co-workers. There’s a fantastic spirit of eagerness to help one another, especially with getting the new guys up to speed. It’s also incredibly satisfying to be with a company that provides such a high level of service, because interacting with happy customers is truly a terrific thing.

In your own words, what is the Red Rock Roofing advantage?

We put a lot more emphasis on customer service than other companies. We’re dedicated to taking care of the customer and educating them through the entire process. Everyone here is personable; it’s not just about selling a roof, it’s about engaging with people’s lives. To that end, it’s my understanding that Red Rock prefers to hire on a trust basis rather than solely on qualifications, focusing on morals and values as the most important traits to look for. You can teach someone the roofing trade, but you can’t teach good character.

When vetting a roofing company to look at your roof, what questions should homeowners ask to determine if they’re credible?

First, you should always check out their reviews and see what other people are saying. You need to make sure they’re fair and that they’re truly there to take care of you. In this industry, character is what’s going to make the difference between a great customer experience and a not-so-great one, and reviews often speak to that character.

What do you find yourself doing in your spare time?

My spare time is mostly spent with my family and at church. I have a daughter who’s almost one, a four-year-old son, and we’re pregnant with our third! I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, and still live there, and I do what I can to take care of the community around me. Beyond that, I enjoy lifting weights and staying fit so I can play with my kids through all their growing years, and hopefully my grandkids too!
